Danube-Data is an integrated environmental data platform developed within Task 2.4 of the SUNDANSE project as the operational implementation of its environmental data network.

The platform supports structured curation and management of SUNDANSE datasets across sediment quality and quantity, hydrology, and biodiversity domains, in alignment with FAIR data principles and interoperability requirements.

The architecture is designed with scalability in mind, enabling structured metadata governance, role-based access control, and potential interoperability with related regional initiatives in the Danube–Black Sea system where relevant.
